                                              125 YEARS IN FREMONT!!

                                          March 20, 1892 - March 20, 2017

      Announcing the 125th Anniversary of Fremont Baptist Church!  It all started in the train's Baptist Chapel Car named "Evangel" which was pulled to Washington State by train, organized by John D. Rockefeller, to start Baptist churches in Washington.  There are two other churches that were founded from that same visit. They are the Everett First Baptist Church, and Snohomish First Baptist Church.

So far we have two more special events planned for our 125 year celebration.

*    March 19, 2017  - Happened
125th Anniversary Celebration Worship Service and meal
were celebrated with many
friends and neighbors.  It was a terrific start to celebrating our rich history.  Thank you for being a part of this special day in the life of Fremont Baptist Church.

*    June 3, 2017 - Open House Tour
  11 am- 4 pm  Come to see the inside of the Fremont Baptist Church building, including the viewing of 100+ pipes for our Estey Theater Pipe Organ which was installed in 1924.  Purchased from the Dream Theater in Bremerton. A rare opportunity not to be missed. If you dare venture to the somewhat spooky sub basement, you will be able to see the foundations and our ancient boiler, there is part of the original foundation of our first building (wooden) on this site and the current (brick building) foundation as well.   You are invited to help us pack 125 hygiene kits in honor of our 125 years since our organization was formed. The hygiene kits are given to the less fortunate in our community.  We will have our Orange Fremont Baptist Fair booth set up in the grass to enjoy some snacks and refreshments for a small fee.  All fees will be donated to the Family Works Food Bank, which originally started in our church basement as the Fremont Food Bank! We look forward to seeing people from the community that appreciate old buildings and history.

*   June 17 and 18, 2017   Two weeks later please visit our Orange Fremont Baptist Fair Booth at the Fremont Fair.  Once again ALL donations for Free Coffee and Lemonade and renting out our parking lot will benefit the Family Works Food Bank. We have a rich 40 year history being a part of the Fremont Fair.  We are very proud to continue to be a part of the Fremont Fair and donate all proceeds to Family Food Works each June. Thank you for your part in helping us with that mission.

*    Sept. 10, 2017 - OLD HOME SUNDAY gathering and worship.  10:30 AM. This is a time when former members and others having any past or present connection to Fremont Baptist Church can come to be part of our celebration to honor our history, the founders, pastors and members.  We hope to see you on Sept 10th.

         Keep watching this page for more details. If you have questions or want to help with     planning or have suggestions, please contact the church office @ 206-632-7994.
